What does €150 per month cover?

A dedicated server in the European Union, HTTPS certificates, nightly backups with a tested restore, uptime monitoring, operating system and dependency security updates, and email support on working days. It does not cover new features or 24/7 phone support.

Can you host something you did not build?

Sometimes. We need to read the code and the deployment first — that is the €500 assessment. If it cannot be run safely we will say so rather than take the monthly fee.

Does hosting in the EU make me GDPR compliant?

We keep it online, in Europe, from €150 a month

Building the thing is the easy half. Somebody has to renew the certificate, apply the security patch, notice the disk is full, and be able to restore last night's database. Olivabot B.V. (Amsterdam) does that on a dedicated server in the European Union, from €150 per month excluding VAT.

It is not new features. When you want the product to do something it did not do before, that is a separate fixed fee, quoted before we touch it. From €150 per month excluding VAT for a small app on one server. More if it needs a GPU, heavy storage, or several machines — we tell you the number before you commit.

Monthly, cancel with one month's notice. You own the application. If you leave, we move it to a server in your name and hand over the keys rather than holding it hostage.
