Olivabot B.V. is in the Dutch Business Register. Chamber of Commerce number 94493200. The extract lists what we are registered to do. Those are the services we provide: we write computer programs, we consult and run IT, and we do our own research.

This page is in English so it matches the rest of the site. The Dutch on the extract is the wording that counts. English below is ours: what the codes are, and which offers sit under them.

What an SBI code is

SBI is the Standaard Bedrijfsindeling: the Dutch classification of economic activities, kept by Statistics Netherlands (CBS). The Kamer van Koophandel puts one or more of those codes on every company in the Business Register. Banks, statisticians, and some tenders read them. They are the Dutch version of the EU NACE list. The current edition is SBI 2025.

Each company has a main activity (hoofdactiviteit) and can list extra activities (extra activiteiten). Ours are 62100, 62200, and 72100. The extract writes them as five digits. CBS writes the same classes with dots: 62.10.0, 62.20.0, 72.10.0.

Main activity. CBS 62.10.0. English class title at CBS: Computer programming activities. The extract’s English line is “Designing computer programs.”

This is the paid work: we design, write, and ship programs. On this site that is firmware (including on-device AI, and CAD when the program lives in a box) and software (web apps, computer vision, EU hosting). Payments and latency are the same code when that is the job.

SBI 62200 — Computerconsultancy en beheer van computerfaciliteiten

Extra activity. CBS 62.20.0. English class title at CBS: Computer consultancy and computer facilities management activities.

Advice, and keeping systems running. Consulting is a call and a written report — farm robots, cameras, sensor data. The extract also names design and installation of IT infrastructure, cyber security, and testing and analysis of networks and systems — that is the same work as a data review, and as EU hosting: a dedicated server, backups, monitoring, updates.

SBI 72100 — Natuurwetenschappelijk onderzoek en experimentele ontwikkeling

Extra activity. CBS 72.10.0. English class title at CBS: Research and experimental development on natural sciences and engineering. The extract’s shorter English line, “Scientific research and experimental development,” drops the natural-sciences limit that the Dutch keeps.

Our own lab work. That is the research on Work: Gibbon Bot, the earlier arboreal prototypes, Basil Bot, student assignments we supervised. Natuurwetenschappelijk here means engineering, information technology, and the natural sciences — trees, cameras, printed mechanics.
